Stansbury Days 2013

Amy Kelly met with Dave Vielstich of the Stansbury Park Community Association and learned about the Stansbury Days activities held this year. This has been a community tradition for 40 years and gets better every year. There are fun activities such as a parade, cardboard boat races on the lake, entertainment, food, booths, and much more. Strengthen and Energize at Radiance Yoga

Melanie Chacon met with Shari Philpott-Marsh of Radiance Yoga and Healing Arts and learned about the yoga classes she teaches. Ophir Day 2013

Amy Kelly met with Ophir Mayor Walt Shubert and learned about the history of Ophir and the work that is being done to preserve it. There is a historic site in town where several old homes and buildings can be viewed on Saturdays. Hours of availability may vary. The original Ophir Day began with the miners long ago, and the tradition still continues.

Lincoln Highway Concert at Clark Historic Farm

Amy Kelly met with Laurie Hurst, Director of the Friends of the Clark Historic Farm in Grantsville and learned about the many fun activities that are planned to take place there. Also, special guest Cecelia Otto performed a concert to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Highway.
